This flower salt is infused with blueberries and we added rose petals for the look, rose water and lemon zest for the flavour. Like all our other products the plant material used is grown organically. Just imagine your favourite cheese with a pink dusting that smells and tastes of roses.
Ingredients:
Blueberry: The blueberry's fibre, potassium, folate, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and phytonutrient content, coupled with its lack of cholesterol, support heart health. The fibre in blueberries helps lower the total amount of cholesterol in the blood and decrease the risk of heart disease. The other health benefits of consuming blueberries are too numerous to list here.
Rose petals: Rose petals are known to clean the gall bladder. They are high in vitamin C and contain a range of antioxidants.
Lemon zest: Lemon zest contains about 5 to 10 times more vitamins than lemon juice. They are also a source of fibre, potassium, magnesium, calcium, folate, and beta carotene. Lemon peels improve bone health too! Since they contain high amounts of calcium and vitamin C, they have been shown to aid in prevention of osteoporosis, inflammatory polyarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
Uses:
We recommend using it for all dark meats after it is cooked as a special seasoning and on cheese and cooked vegetables.
